Spring Flowers was founded in New York City in 1983 by Maria Moureto. Growing up in The Netherlands and having lived in France and Spain, she came to New York with 3 young children and a mission: To bring exclusive European children’s clothing to America. Spring Flowers Children’s Boutique was born.

Thirty-eight years later, Spring Flowers Children continues to be an institution. With stores on Madison Avenue, New York, and Worth Avenue in Palm Beach, Florida, it remains one of the world's premier independent upscale children’s stores.

In 2002, Maria’s daughter Cynthia created the private label brand Fleurisse when she realized that the mass luxury brands began to lack the detail and sophistication that only smaller-batch brands could: hand-crafted collections with impeccable design and attention to the smallest of details. Today, Fleurisse is one of the world’s most exclusive luxury brands of children’s wear. Worn by little princesses from the Middle East to young starlets from Hollywood, its dresses hang next to Europe’s prestigious fashion brands.
